As per the Census 2011 out of total population of Rajasthan, 24.87% people lived in urban regions while 75.13% in rural areas. The total figure of population of urban population was 17,048,085 out of which 8,909,250 were males while remaining 8,138,835 were females. In rural areas of Rajasthan, male population was 26,641,747 while female population was 24,858,605.
